Youth Services
The Youth Services Program provides law enforcement and educational services and programs targeted to youth and juveniles.
Objective
- To serve the community by deterring youth and juvenile crime through a program of education and prevention activities
- To apprehend and seek corrective services for youth and juvenile offenders
Activities
- Investigation of crimes involving youth and juveniles
- The apprehension of youthful offenders
- Presentation of crime prevention and drug education programs
- Operation of the D.A.R.E. drug education program with the L.I.S.D.
- Provide contract officer for Lamesa Independent Schools
