          District 4 - 3Year Term
         District 5 - 3 Year Term

          Qualifications of Mayor, Council Members, and other Officials outlined in the
          City of Lamesa Charter,
  • Shall be a resident of the City of Lamesa
  • Shall be bona fide residents within the City
  • Must continue to reside within the City
  • Shall not be indebted to the City of Lamesa 
  • Shall not hold any public office of emolument
              Important Dates

  • January 17, 2024 - First day to file for a place on the ballot
  • February 16, 2024 - Last day to file for a place on the ballot
  • April 22, 2024 - First day of early voting
  • April 30, 2024 - Last day of early voting
  • May 4, 2024 - Election Day

    Concejo Municipal Distrito 1 -Término de tres (3) años
   
    Concejo Municipal Distrito 4 -Término de tres (3) años 
    Concejo Municipal Distrito 5 -Término de tres (3) años 
 
          Calificaciones del Alcalde, Concejales y otros Funcionarios como se describe en la Carta Constitutiva
          de la Ciudad de Lamesa
  • Será ciudadano residente de la ciudad de Lamesa.
  • Deberán ser residentes de buena fe dentro de la Ciudad y dentro del Distrito correspondiente al momento de presentar su candidatura.
  • Debe continuar residiendo dentro de la ciudad y el distrito correspondiente durante el mandato.
  • No deberá estar en deuda con la ciudad de Lamesa.
  • No ocupará ningún cargo público de remuneración
   

           Fechas importantes

  • 17 de enero de 2024 - Primer día para solicitar un lugar en la boleta
  • 16 de febrero de 2024 - Último día para solicitar un lugar en la boleta
  • 22 de abril de 2024 - Primer día de votación anticipada
  • 30 de abril de 2024 - Último día de votación anticipada
  • 4 de mayo de 2024 - Día de las elecciones
