Lamesa is involved in the planning stages for two important international trade corridor initiatives.
Port-To-Plains
The Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor is a planned, multimodal transportation corridor including a multi-lane divided highway that will facilitate the efficient transportation of goods and services from Mexico, through West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma, and ultimately on into Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
La Entrada al Pacifico
Lamesa has been designated as the northern terminus of the "La Entrada al Pacifico," trade route an international trade route terminating at the Pacific port city of Topolobampo, Mexico.
